I promise to make this as easy an experience for you as possible.
Since most of my clients are parents with small kids, I understand that your time is precious, and you don't need anything to complicate your already busy lives. I'll take you through step-by-step and offer support and advice whenever you need it throughout the process.

I, myself, am WAY more comfortable behind the camera rather in front of the camera, so I get it. I have YEARS of experience working with people of almost every age, size, ethnic background, and varying abilities and special needs, and will use the knowledge I've gained to make you look and feel great during your photo shoot. And you can take comfort in the fact that I will most certainly be making a fool of myself and will be the most ridiculous person at your session.
Your satisfaction is my priority!
You ONLY have to pay my sitting fee prior to your photo session. This covers my time in planning, executing, and editing your session. Then, you can view your photos before you decide how much you want to invest in prints, products and digital memories. While I'm confident you'll love your images, if you don't end up liking them, you don't have to purchase anything; and you've only paid for the service you received.
Customization!
I don't offer a "one size-fits-all" experience. Every family is different, and their photography needs vary. I customize your photo shoot based on what you're looking for. And if you don't really know what you want other than great photos, no worries! You can trust that I'll guide you through your photo shoot and ensure that you get some amazing shots that you'll want on your walls for years to come!
Flexibility!
After you've viewed your portraits, you can decide how much you want to spend and how you want to keep your images by selecting one of my flexible collection options. Each collection has a different amount of digital files and print credit so you can text, email, call, or Zoom me to place your order. You have 30 days after your proof gallery is released to take your time deciding between decorating your walls with canvases or frames, collecting your memories in an album or photo book, or making prints for the kids' room, your office desk, to stick on the fridge, or to gift to family and friends!

FAQ
What should I wear?
Depending on the theme or setting for your portrait session, you can choose colors or patterns that will enhance the overall look you're going for (comfy flannels, boots, or denim for a rustic outdoor shoot; pastels and florals for a Spring or Easter session, bright colors or favorite characters for baby's first birthday, etc). Try to coordinate your outfits for a group photo session, but I would suggest avoiding anything too matchy-matchy. Having different colors and textures will add more interest to your photos and look more natural and less staged.
For infants, doing diaper shots or even carefully posed naked photos is very popular, but be sure to bring some outfit changes as well in case they spit up or drool all over the first one before we're done shooting.
What should I expect during a photo shoot?
First we will have a brief consultation so I can learn about yourself, your family and your photography needs. We can discuss any special requests, themes or ideas you would like to incorporate into your portrait session, as well as how you plan to use your images and where you want to display them in your home. Once we decide on a date/time/place at which to take your portraits, you can trust that I will take you through a relaxed and fun portrait session. Whether it be an outdoor casual, candid family shoot, or a studio-style session, you will love your images and enjoy sharing and viewing them for years to come!
When will we get our photos?
You will receive a gallery with your photos within 15-30 days. You have 10 days to view and share your gallery as much as you want before you commit to purchasing a collection. After I receive your payment for your selected collection, your online gallery will reopen and you can use your print credit toward physical products featuring your portraits. You'll be sent a menu of the items I offer when you book your session, so you have time beforehand to browse and get an idea of what is available. Plus you can select your favorites on your gallery page to let me know which ones you would like me to release digitally.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I am currently serve the Chattanooga, TN area, but I am willing to travel if you have a specific location where you'd like to shoot. However, please note that travel expenses will be added to your bill. Please contact me for details if you are interested in shooting more than 20 miles from Chattanooga, TN 37421.
Can we bring our pets?
Yes! For any outdoor photo session, or a non-studio session taking place in your home, we can include your fur babies!
Love to ride and want pics with your horse? We can do that!
Are you dog parents about to be baby human parents and you want big "brother" or "sister" to be in your birth announcements? Yes, please!
Adopted a new kitten or bunny? We can include them, too!
Please know that animals may or may not cooperate and I make no guarantees of "perfect" pictures with your floofs.
I'm Expecting. Do you do maternity or newborn photography?
Casual couple's maternity and birth announcement sessions are certainly within my wheelhouse, but if you are wanting the more artistic, glamorous shots many maternity photographers create, I'd do some research and find a photographer who really loves to do that sort of thing.
There's a fair amount of technique and practice that goes into safely wrapping and posing teeny babies for those perfect sleepy shots that are the current trend for newborn photos now, so I'd also recommend finding a photographer who specializes in, and has the right training, studio equipment, props, and lighting to achieve those beautiful images.
